It only takes a few minutes
To show I thought of you:
So here's a card with a message
Thanking you for all you do.

My Mom brought me up to say "Thank You very much"
For a gift or someone doing a good turn;
So this I send to you full of appreciation
I hope that one day the honour I'll return.

The world's a better place
Because of folk like you
Who take the time to do nice things
The way you always do.

You have been so kind
Holding open that door;
You don't know how hard it is
This wheelchair is closer to the floor.

It makes them seem to weigh so heavy
So it's very nice to see;
Good manners hereabouts increase
For folks just like you and me.

When I count my blessings, I count you twice.

In this life there is just so much to be thankful for
Waking up in the mornings is on the plus side;
Air to breathe and water to drink;
there are those who have not.
The varieties of everything that enchants us worldwide.
In all the places around the world from very cold to very hot.

All the animals and the fauna are amazing to behold;
All shapes, sizes and colors some beautiful and some rather odd
The joy of our friendships and families without whom we'd be cold.
We are amazing, walking miracles one and all.

Everything is how we view it;
Is our cup half empty or is it half full
Thanking God for every minute!
We have on average three score years and ten

This amounts to approximately 25,500 days;
That doesn't sound so long now does it
Let's just say a big "Thank You" in every way.
