Goodbye Friendship Poems

Goodbye Friendship Poems are for a friendship that dies, or the sad loss of a good friend. These are for your non commercial use only.

Goodbye Friendship Poems

**

I can't believe what you've just said
I thought you were my friend;
You've used me for my career moves
So this now is the end.

I was sure that I could trust you
I felt so safe and sure;
I'm now at sixes and sevens
I really don't know anymore.

I haven't felt like this for many a year
I'm shaken to the core;
It made me quite ill last time
I've been here once before.

My confidence is shattered,
That you've done this to me;
How can you live with yourself
It's wicked! Don't you see?

Selfish, heartless and the very worst
Is that you don't even give a s..t!
Because you're going to some dizzy height
At the boardroom head you'll sit.

You will get your comeuppence
We all do in the end;
I just want to watch
When to hell you're sent.

The friendship boat has just sunk
Between me and you it hit a rock;
So now we're both floundering
I'll race you to the dock.

Maybe it will get better
As time heals all sorts of wounds
But I'll not be hanging about
As I'm not honor bound.

It feels like I've lost a limb
As you're my other half;
I feel totally lost
And that again I will never laugh!

You've run off with my heart
And also all my money;
I thought you really loved me
Is that why you called me honey!

You took the hard earned cash I had
Without all the hard work behind;
What did you think I'd say
Oh Darling! Never mind!

The fraud squad is on your tail
This is not just a woman spurned;
This is one with nothing left to lose
I want back what I have earned.

As for my heart it will heal in the end
Otherwise I'll stay on my own;
Right now I've got things to think about
Like how do I get to keep my home.

Our chapter together has come to an end
It was great at the very first;
But it dried up later on
And hasn't quenched our thirst.

Remembering My Thoughts of You

God sent me an Angel to call my very own,
I thought we'll always be together from this day on.
I remember all the good times
and the awesome lovemaking we shared
All the hopes and dreams we had,
nothing in my life could ever compare
I will always remember your sweet Angelic face,
With a smile brighter than the sun light,
with such beauty and grace.
There will always be a place
deep down in my heart,
a special place where only you
will occupy that part.
I remember the way your body felt
as I held you close to me.
In my heart and in my soul
is where you belong and will always be.

Goodbye Friendship Poems

Adieu!
I have too grieved a heart
to take a tedious leave.
William Shakespeare

**

Gone - flitted away,
Taken the stars from the night and the sun
From the day!
Gone, and a cloud in my heart.
Alfred Tennyson
