It’s a beautiful world at Christmas
When the one you love is there
There’s a glow that brightens everything
A sparkle in the air.Within my heart

At Christmastime people smile
They look and say "Hello"
Why can't it be like this all the time
With peace and happiness all aglow.

Children playing in the snow
Looking up at the starry sky;
With eagerness and pleading too
When's Santa coming they all cry.

Will he bring me all my presents
I sent him a lovely letter;
I did ask for quite a lot though
My Mom just said he'd better.

She's known him all her life
And that he always does deliver;
So I've promised him to be so good
Otherwise my Moms a little fibber.

There are some children the world over
Who need things more than me;
I've already got some bits
Sitting under the christmas tree.

So if you don't find the time
To visit me this year;
I won't be upset you see
Dad will probably drink your beer.
